Care and Feeding of Your Bread

  1. Do not refrigerate.

  2. After slicing, store remainder of loaf, cut side down, on a cutting board (with the bag or cotton towel over the loaf). ….Or….

  3. Slice your bread and freeze the slices in a freezer bag. Remove what you need, without thawing, and toast it. The bread steams on the inside and gets toasted on the outside.

  4. If the loaf doesn’t get eaten or frozen after three days, make bread pudding or croutons.

  5. Remember, there are no preservatives in any of our breads.
